Alumacraft Downrigger Assembly

Our Alumacraft Downrigger Assembly is precision-machined from durable aluminum alloy and includes one mounting plate and one Alumacraft mount. The two-piece Alumacraft mount locks securely into place, preventing movement, rattling, or slipping in rough water conditions. Designed with optimal clamp force, the mount remains firmly secured while integrated plastic protective caps help prevent scratching or damage to the gunnel surface. All components are corrosion resistant and built for long-term durability on the water.

Our universal downrigger plates are also constructed from heavy-duty aluminum alloy and feature a one-piece design for maximum strength and reliability. No additional drilling into your gunnel is required. These universal mounting plates provide an excellent solution for adapting existing rod holders, tracks, downriggers, and other accessories to your boat. Each plate is precision-machined from 3/8″ thick aluminum for superior rigidity and corrosion resistance, providing performance designed to last a lifetime.

Superior Fishing Products’ Alumacraft Downrigger Assembly includes one mounting plate and one Alumacraft mount. Our universal downrigger mounting plates measure 6″ x 6″ and feature pre-drilled mounting patterns designed to adapt a wide variety of existing rod holders, tracks, downriggers, and accessories to your boat. Each plate is precision-machined from durable 3/8″ thick aluminum for maximum strength and reliability on the water.

Each Alumacraft mount is specifically engineered to fit securely into the Alumatrac gunnel system. The compact, low-profile design allows for quick installation while keeping your equipment positioned close to the boat for improved stability and a clean appearance. By capturing both the upper and lower contact points of the Alumacraft gunnel, the mount provides a secure, movement-free fit that eliminates unwanted noise and vibration while underway.

Compatibility & Mounting Options

Our Alumacraft mounts are compatible with a variety of Alumacraft models, including:

  • Escape
  • Competitor
  • Classic

Not recommended for Trophy models.

This assembly includes our universal downrigger plate along with pre-drilled mounting holes that are compatible with all Superior Fishing Products fishing tree bases, as well as many popular downrigger adapter plates currently on the market. The versatile design also allows for mounting accessories such as the Mega 360 and other electronics.

Finish Options

Our Alumacraft Downrigger Assemblies come standard with a black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and durability in harsh marine environments.

Optional Cerakote finishes are also available. Cerakote is an advanced thin-film ceramic coating that provides exceptional abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance — exceeding the durability of traditional powder coating finishes.
